February Week 1: INTEGRITY
"Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching." – Anonymous
At Lewis Karate Barrie, we emphasize that Karate is more than just punches and kicks—it’s about building strong character. One of the most important traits a martial artist can have is integrity.
Integrity means doing what is right, even when no one is watching. It’s following through on your commitments, respecting your training partners, and always putting in your best effort. A true martial artist doesn’t look for shortcuts or excuses—they take responsibility for their actions and hold themselves to the highest standard.
Integrity is what separates a good student from a great one. Whether it’s showing up to class ready to train, helping a fellow student, or being honest in competition, integrity is the foundation of success in both Karate and life.
Ask yourself:
A martial artist’s strength isn’t just measured in physical ability—it’s measured in character. Let’s continue to train with integrity and push each other to be our best!
